Manchester City cruised into the Champions League final by seeing off PSG on Tuesday in the semifinals second leg, winning 2-0.
Pep Guardiola’s team advanced on aggregate, 4-1, holding Neymar and company at bay for 90 minutes to make their first Champions League final.
Riyad Mahrez scored in both halves, adding to his goal in the first leg, while PSG struggled big time with injured superstar Kylian Mbappe remaining on the bench for the entire game. City will face either Chelsea or Real Madrid in the final on May 29 in Istanbul.

Angel Di Maria, who had an awful hour-plus for the Parisians, made matters worse in the second half with a silly red card for stomping on Fernandinho, ending any hope of a comeback with about 20 minutes to go.
PSG entered the game needing at least two goals to have any chance, but City’s defense was inspired, blocking shot after shot to leave Mauricio Pochettino’s team frustrated at yet another European failure.

As for City, they reach the point they’ve been building towards for years, and now they could be 90 minutes from the ultimate prize in European club soccer.
