Sadio Mane’s tenure at Al-Nassr may be coming to an end due to reported tensions with Cristiano Ronaldo and dissatisfaction from the club management.
Since joining Al-Nassr on August 1, 2023, Mane has made 46 appearances, scoring 19 goals and providing eight assists. However, his departure seems imminent.
Al-Ittihad, another Saudi Pro League club, has initiated talks to sign Mane for the upcoming season. The move is reportedly backed by Karim Benzema, who believes Mane’s addition would strengthen the team and boost their chances of winning the Saudi Pro League 2024-25.
Meanwhile, Al-Nassr is recovering from a 1-4 defeat against Al-Hilal in the 2024 Saudi Super Cup final on August 17. They will begin their 2024-25 Saudi Pro League campaign against Al-Raed on August 22. Al-Ittihad, on the other hand, will face Al Kholood in their season opener on August 24.
