The Charlotte Hornets took a convincing win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night in their home, Spectrum Center. This further worsen the situation for the reigning champions who suffered their third loss in four matches.
Giannis Antetokounmpo did his best to give his Bucks a slight chance to win the game. The “Greek Freak” finished off with 43 points and 12 rebounds on an 11-20 shooting from the field. On top of that, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis also ended up having double-doubles for the night. Middleton dropped 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Portis scored 19 points, adding to that 13 rebounds.

For the winners, Terry Rozier was the highest scorer with 28 points on a 11-19 performance. Miles Bridges added 21 points and 8 rebounds, while LaMelo Ball and Kelly Oubre Jr. combined for 37 points.
Jordan Nwora, Langston Galloway, and Rodney Hood are to blame for this loss. The Nigerian went for 1-11 from the field, scoring just 3 points for 30 minutes in the game. Galloway and Hood, however, missed a total of 10 shots as they went scoreless for the Bucks.

Milwaukee’s trio finished off with 13 turnovers which came in crucial in the end. Despite the 21 points from Giannis in the last quarter, his team failed to deliver yet once again in 2022. They, however, remain in 4th place with 26 wins and 16 losses which still gives them a chance to fight for the top spots in the East.
The Charlotte Hornets are enjoying a fantastic first half of the 2021/22 NBA campaign. They will surely battle for a Playoffs spot in the end as they are now 8th holding a 21-19 record. The team has everything needed to fight it out with the likes of the Wizards, the Raptors, and the Celtics.
