Barring any last-minute hitch, Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey will sign a five-year with Arsenal after agreeing personal terms with the London-based club.
According to reports in the media, Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Partey after paying the €50 million buyout clause for the Atletico Madrid midfielder.
Partey, 27, will earn up to £250,000 per week in his new Arsenal deal.

He will sign a contract until June 2025, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano if he passes his medical.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder passed initial medical tests in Madrid and will travel to London tonight to complete the transfer.
Partey has been a long-term target for Mikel Arteta. Some football experts say the dynamism he will bring to the midfield of Arsenal will really suit Arteta’s style of play and would be an excellent acquisition.
