After making his return, Zach LaVine is once again back to his top form. He dropped 30 points in his second game following his absence due to COVID-19. DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Bulls with 35 points and 10 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic added a monstrous double-double (24 points and 17 rebounds).
Trae Young was once again inefficient for the Hawks. He might have dropped 29 points, but his 34.8% performance from the field is simply not up to his high standards. Cam Reddish was the most valuable player for Atlanta with his 33 points. He sank a career-high 8 three-pointers, but lost the ball on four occasions.

The Chicago Bulls are looking fantastic from the beginning of the season. They hold a 21-10 record and are the closest team to the leaders from Brooklyn. The Bulls recorded their 4th straight win and will surely look to transfer this performance into the upcoming year. They still have to face the Hawks and the Pacers in their last games before New Year’s Eve.
The Atlanta Hawks are surprisingly 11th in the Eastern Conference at the moment. They won 15 out of their 33 matches so far which put them in the same position as the New York Knicks. The Hawks are still favorites to make the Playoffs, but they will need to level up their game in order to increase their chances.
The team go on a 6-game journey on the road as they will have a shot at the Bulls once again in United Center, followed by a match against the high-flying Cleveland Cavaliers.
