Sweden’s celebrated footballer and AC Milan star striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a report from AC Milan, the former Sweden international has been placed in quarantine at home.
The 38-year-old tested positive after the second round of testing, following AC Milan defender Leo Duarte testing positive on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

Meanwhile, the club says all other players and staff tested negative.
Both Zlatan and Duarte will miss Thursday’s Europa League third qualifying round match with Bodo/Glimt.

Ibrahimovic scored twice in Milan’s 2-0 Serie A win over Bologna on Monday.
He signed a one-year contract extension with the club last month.
