Former NBA big man Enes Kanter Freedom says he was removed from State Farm Arena at halftime of Game 3 after a row over where he would sit.
Off-court drama crashed the WNBA Finals in Atlanta. Former NBA center Enes Kanter Freedom says he was thrown out of Game 3 between the Dream and the Golden State Valkyries at State Farm Arena on Wednesday.
Freedom posted a video at halftime saying he had been removed from the building. The reason for the alleged ejection was not immediately clear. The footage appeared to show him telling security staff he wanted to sit in the seats he had paid for, not in a private suite set up for him.
The arena had reportedly arranged that suite because of safety concerns. This is not the first time Freedom has claimed to be removed from a game this postseason. He was previously ejected from a contest in Chicago.
On the court, the Dream took care of business. Reese starred again as Atlanta thrashed the Valkyries in Game 3 and kept the pressure on in the Finals.
