German-Ghanaian playmaker Roberto Massimo had a hand in two goals as Wehen Wiesbaden swept aside Alemannia Aachen at the Brita Arena.
German-Ghanaian midfielder Roberto Massimo was the man of the moment in the 3. Liga, creating one goal and scoring another as SV Wehen Wiesbaden cruised past Alemannia Aachen 3-0 at the Brita Arena.
Massimo struck first as a creator. In first-half stoppage time he set up Lukas Schleimer to put the hosts ahead just before the break. That goal gave Wiesbaden the momentum they carried into the second half.
Gino Fechner doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 51st minute, and Massimo finished the job in the 77th with a goal of his own. His influence on two of the three goals earned him an 8.4 match rating and the man-of-the-match nod. Ibrahim Ati Allah replaced him in the 80th minute.
The win lifts Wehen Wiesbaden to 11 points from nine league games. Aachen also sit on 11 points after a frustrating night on the road.
Wiesbaden now turn to their next 3. Liga test against Regensburg on October 17, hoping Massimo's form can fuel another strong result.
