Georgia Voll hammered 131 not out off 97 balls as Australia chased down 221 for the loss of one wicket to seal the series 2-0 in Brisbane.
Georgia Voll turned a big chase into a stroll at Brisbane's Allan Border Field. Her unbeaten 131 off 97 balls carried Australia to a nine-wicket victory over Bangladesh and an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ODI series.
It was the opener's third ODI hundred, and she got there in only her 15th match. Australia reached 221-1 in reply to Bangladesh's 220-6 and made the target look routine.
Bangladesh had set it up with a brilliant first innings. Sobhana Mostary struck a century that stands among the great ODI knocks, dragging the visitors to a competitive total. Records fell at the ground during her innings.
In the end, Voll's power and timing were too much for the visitors. Australia now hold the series with a game still to play, and Bangladesh must find a response after producing a performance that deserved more.
