It’s official. The premiere league season for Manchester United is in shambles. If hope wasn’t already at an all time low, a blowout loss to Watford will do the trick. Christiano Ronaldo has proven since his acquisition to the Red Devils that he still has a lot in the tank saving Man U twice in the Champions league, but the Red Devils have been on a slide in the Premiere league unlike any slide in recent history. For a team that started with Premiere League championship aspirations, Man U would be extremely lucky to end up anywhere in the top 4. All hope might hinge on a hopeful Champions League run.
The defense was as bad as it was during Liverpool giving up it’s shape several times and allowing 4 goals to a team in Watford that didn’t enter the game as an offensive powerhouse.
To make matters worse, Harry Maguire , who’s performance has been shotty at most this season was sent of in the 689th minute with a red card. This saw a game that was 2-1 become 4-1 in a mater of stoppage time collapse. Man U had to try to equalize which left them open in the back.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær could be on his last leg with the team. The talent should be there, but getting blown out by Watford… It’s not what the faithful at Old Trafford were expecting.
