The situation within the Brooklyn Nets is getting worse and worse with every single day. They were forced to play with just 8 players against the Orlando Magic a couple of days ago. Later on, they lost Kevin Durant as he entered the health & safety protocols of the NBA. He is yet to be cleared out and be eligible to return for the Nets.
Although that James Harden is back with the team, he will miss his best current teammate, Kevin Durant. The Nets will also be without LaMarcus Aldridge, DeAndre’ Bembry, Bruce Brown, and James Johnson. On top of that, Nicolas Claxton and Cameron Thomas are questionable for Christmas Day. Patty Mils and Blake Griffin will be his best helpers in their visit to California.
The Nets might be facing a weakened Los Angeles Lakers’ who are coming into Christmas on a 4-game losing streak, but they still have LeBron James and Russell Westbrook. Additionally, when it comes to such important games, the Lakers regularly manage to pull it together and hence, surprise everyone.
The Brooklyn Nets still top the Eastern Conference with 21 wins and 9 losses. They have got a couple of postponed games which helped them avoid playing that shorthanded. The team picked up an incredible form in November which was later on transferred into December. However, they lost their last match against the Orlando Magic at home at Barclays Center, 93:100.
Kevin Durant enjoys a fantastic season so far. He averages 29.7 points per game which is the highest in the NBA, putting him ahead of Steph Curry, Trae Young, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
