Bol Bol, the son of the legendary Manute Bol, set a new career-high performance. He dropped 11 points for the Nuggets win over the Houston Rockets. His 5-7 shooting from the field was efficient enough for a total of 20 minutes playing time. The forward added 3 rebounds and 1 assist for his team.
The Nuggets defeated the Rockets with a fantastic second quarter that finished 24-47 in their favor. Nikola Jokic was once again the driving force for his team with another double-double. He wrapped it all up with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Facundo Campazzo was highly effective on both ends. The versatile Argentinian scored 22 points on a 7-11 shooting. He was a nightmare for the opposition’s offense as he racked up 5 steals and 2 blocks.
Jalen Green from the Houston Rockets was the top scorer in the game. However, his 29 points on a 5-8 performance from beyond the arc was simply not enough. The rookie makes a fantastic season so far that might result in an increase in his value in the future.
What makes this new career-high for Bol Bol a decent achievement is the fact that he had a big enough influence on the outcome of the match. His performance early in the second quarter gave the Nuggets the much-needed head-start.
The Nuggets are still waiting for Jamal Murray to make his comeback this season. When this happens, the team might put itself into the contenders’ list. For now, they solely rely on Nikola Jokic and force him to go beyond his limits to carry the team from Colorado.
