Comoros struggles with a goalkeeping crisis after back-up players tested positive for Covid-19 with their third goalkeeper, Salim Ben Boina, injured.
About 12 players and management were also hit by Covid, including coach Amir Abdou.

Himidi added: “It’s the coach and the only fit goalkeepers, so the situation is really complicated.”
Confederation of African Football rules state that teams must still participate in the games with at least 11 players testing negative for Covid. While in the event of the absence of a goalkeeper, another player must be assigned to substitute for the role.
The team is due to face Cameroon on Monday, however, with no goalkeepers currently available, it may cause them serious problems in the tournament. Comoros continues to seek consideration from the AFCON organizing committee.
