The University of Washington (UW) men’s basketball team has made a significant splash in the transfer market, securing the commitment of highly-coveted prospect Great Osobor. The talented player, who previously played for UW coach Danny Sprinkle at Utah State University, announced his intention to join the Huskies next season.
According to ESPN, Osobor will receive a staggering $2 million in name, image, and likeness (NIL) compensation, the highest-known valuation in college basketball this season.
Osobor’s impressive performance at Utah State, where he averaged 17.7 points and nine rebounds, earned him the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year award.
