Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, recently visited his alma mater, Olusosun Primary School, in the Oregun area of Lagos State, taking his CAF award with him.
Osimhen won the 2023 Men’s Player of the Year award in December, becoming the first Nigerian to achieve this since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.
His recent visit to the school was disclosed on X.com by a photojournalist, Sulaiman Adebayo, popularly called Pooja.
The caption read, “Victor Osimhen takes his CAF Award to Olusosun Primary School, Ojota, where it all started with street coaches and friends.”
In June 2023, Osimhen had similarly visited the primary school.
He reportedly went to his former classroom, saw his old teacher, and took pictures with the students at the school.
