Sevilla FC have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho to a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.
Iheanacho marks the club’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old joins Sevilla as a free agent after being released by Leicester City following the expiration of his contract in June.
He will reunite with his compatriot, Chidera Ejuke, at the Spanish club.
Iheanacho scored 61 goals and provided 34 assists in 232 matches for the Foxes.
With a wealth of experience playing for top-tier clubs like Manchester City and Leicester City, Iheanacho brings a proven track record to Sevilla FC.
He has played in 27 matches in European competition, scoring in every tournament he’s participated in, including the Europa League, Conference League, Champions League, and Champions League qualifiers.
