American Coco Gauff reached the final of the Beijing Open tennis tournament after defeating Spain’s Paula Badosa in two sets to one.
The match witnessed great competition as Badosa won the first set in her favor with six games to four, but Gauff quickly regained her balance to win the second and third sets with a score of 6-4 and 6-2 respectively, decisively advancing to the final in her quest to win her eighth career title.
Gauff, who won the 2023 US Open title, will play in the final against Czech Karolina Muchova, who defeated Chinese Zheng Zhenwen 6-3, 6-4.
