Lamine Yamal Makes Clasico History After Breaking Ansu Fati’s Record

Lamine Yamal made more history on Saturday night when he scored his first ever Clasico goal against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Barcelona’s superstar made it 3-0 with a fierce effort that was blasted past Andriy Lunin at his near post to effectively seal the match.

Not only was it Yamal’s first Clasico goal, it also ensured he made yet more history. The teenager is now the youngest ever scorer in the famous fixture.

Yamal netted at the age of 17 years and 105 days, breaking the record previously held by Ansu Fati (17 years and 359 days).

Barcelona’s wonderkid already has plenty of records in his collection despite his tender years but will love adding this one to the list.

He has now five La Liga goals to his name this season and six assists in just 11 appearances for Hansi Flick’s table-toppers.
