Liverpool super star Mohamed Salah has been invited by the Egypt U-20 Coach, Shawky Gharib to participate in 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
The coach confirm that Mohamed Salah will join the team for the tournament, and has been lookout for players in the senior team as he prepares his side for the Olympics game in summer.
Shawky said that ,although the player will be call to join the team, he did not contact the Liverpool striker regarding the matter. “Out of the three senior players we will call-up, Salah is the only one we are settled on so far because he is simply one of the top three players in the world”
“I have not talked to Salah at all about him joining the U-23 squad for the Olympics,but in all honesty, his participation in the Olympics will need little effort from him as well”
Th summer Olympics will kick off July this year and every country participating in football have to include three over age players in the squad. For the second time in history Japan (Tokyo) is hosting the summer Olympics. They first hosted back in 1964.
