Newly Ghana National team coach, Charles Kwabena Akunor visits injured defender Daniel Amartey in Leicester.
Leicester City defender has been out of action since October 2018 due to knee injuries. Coach CK Akunor who was appointed by Ghana Football Association (GFA) currently on the European tour has extended visite to the defender.
“Coach CK Akunnor has visited injured Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey and also has some discussions with LCFC manager Brendan Rodgers,” the Ghana Football Association announced on social media on Wednesday.
According to the coach, the defender will not be part of the 2021 African Cup of Nation qualify. Amartey did not participate in the AFOCN 2019 in Egypt because of the injury.
