According to Peter King of NBC Sports, the Cameroonian defensive tackle re-signed with the Buccaneers due to the recent signing of Tom Brady.

“I think the first signing that illustrates how much a player wanted to play with Tom Brady was Ndamukong Suh’s one-year, $8-million deal with the Bucs. One team talking with Suh believes playing with Brady was the tipping point in Tampa Bay’s favor.”

To be honest, it perfectly makes sense. Brady is the most accomplished player in NFL history, six-time Super Bowl champion who has never had a losing record as a starting quarterback. Brady has won division titles every year he’s been healthy with the exception of the 2002 season.

On Ndamukong Suh Suh has never won a Super Bowl. In 2018, the Cameroonian and the Rams fell short against the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Except this attempt, the Buccaneers defensive tackle has been to the playoffs twice in his career.

To simplify it all, the idea of playing with an experienced QuarterBack like Brady is a major selling point. It provides Suh his best chance of winning a Super Bowl. At now, 33 years of age, the former Pro Bowl defensive tackle doesn’t exactly have all of the time in the world.

The impact of Brady’s signing was almost immediately felt in Tampa Bay. It had been reported that many were making calls to the Buccaneers wanting to be a part of their team.
