AC Milan’s Kessie and Parma’s Gervinho return to Italy from Ivory coast with a private jet

Forward Gervinho and AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie have arrived in Italy after they were stuck in Ivory Coast due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ivory Coast internationals were unable to leave the West African country initially due to the flight restrictions enforced by the Ivorian government to curb the spread of the virus in the country.

Kessie and Gervinho left for their native country following the suspension of Serie A in March and the former is the last player in Stefano Pioli’s team to arrive in Milan.

They are expected to do the usual 14 day quarantine upon their arrival to Italy,

According to the News Agency in the country, Gervinho, through his foundation, donated to the Ministry of Women, Family and Children 19 cartons of pasta, 18 25kg bags of rice, nine hand washing buckets, four 25 litres cans of oil, 20 large mats, three cartons of 12 bleaching bottles, and four bags of washing powder.
