Boxing legend Mike Tyson brawled with WWE legend Chris Jericho after making an appearance at the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite show on Wednesday night.
Speculations have been floating around recently of Iron Mike possibly making a return to the ring for one more fight after he posted videos on social media of him training.
There has also been a lot of talk of an exhibition bout with a number of high-profile fighters, including old rival Evander Holyfield and Anthony Joshua.
However, the boxing legend was seen in a wresting ring instead, clashing physically with former WWE Champions Jericho on Wednesday night. After a brief back-and-forth, the two engaged in a shoving match before the locker room emptied to get between them.
Tyson’s appearance on All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has sparked rumours he will fight Jericho in the near future as he stoked the fires further in a backstage interview.
This is not the first time Tyson has appeared in a wresting ring. He was prominent in the 1990s and led the WrestleMania 14 main event between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Michaels in 1998.
He first crossed path with Jericho in 2010 during an episode of WWE’s “Monday Night Raw.” He teamed up with Jericho in a match against D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) but Tyson turned his back against Jericho by unveiling a D-Generation-X t-shirt before knocking out his partner.
Tyson last fought in 2005 against Kevin McBride. He lost the match but still has a strong 50-6 record. Many fans would be interested in his return as they remember his terrific matchups against Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield.
