Jon Jones ready for $100 million super fight with Mike Tyson in the ring and the octagon

Jon Jones has taken to Twitter and responded to boxing legend Mike Tyson following the callout by the latter.

The UFC light heavyweight champion has been mooting a move from UFC due to his unhappiness over his pay from the franchise and, remarkably, Mike Tyson might just be his ticket to a money-spinning alternative.

In an interview with Charlie Mack, Tyson compared the money made in boxing and offered up a super-fight to ‘Bones’ Jones, saying, no matter how many people watch UFC, boxers will make more money than MMA fighters.

‘Listen to this, UFC is more popular than boxing, right? Higher ratings, right? But a UFC fighter will never be richer than a first-class fighter,’ Tyson said.

‘To make a $100 million, Conor McGregor had to fight Floyd Mayweather. Jon Jones got to fight me if he wants to make some super money.’

Tyson’s last sentence may have sounded frivolous but Jones clearly doesn’t want to pass up a chance to take on the 53-year-old, who has been teasing a return to boxing himself.

Taking to Twitter, Jones said: ‘I’m listening, Mike Tyson’ before expanding further on his Instagram.

‘I’ll box you in the ring if you promise to give me a real fight in the octagon afterwards,’ Jones said. ‘And because I respect you so much, I promise I won’t break anything on you.’
