Henry Ruggs slams NFL’s over new rule limiting postgame interactions

NFL star has criticised the NFL’s new rule which is set to limit interactions between players in the league.

The Oakland Raiders wide receiver expressed his bemusement, insisting people are “not thinking”.

The NFL has been considering some measures to protect players in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.

NFL reporter Tom Pelissero said, aside limiting player interactions, jersey swaps will also be forbidden.

“NFL teams will be forbidden from postgame interactions within 6 feet of each other and jersey exchanges between players will be prohibited during the 2020 season, sources say. Another way the NFL will look different in the COVID-19 world,” he tweeted.

Quoting the tweet, Ruggs described the move as unbelievable, saying: “Y’all can’t be serious. Like are people not thinking.”

Meanwhile, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman also took to Twitter to slam the new rule.

“This is a perfect example of NFL thinking in a nutshell. Players can go engage in a full contact game and do it safely. However, it is deemed unsafe for them to exchange jerseys after said game,” he wrote.
