Golf Superstar Tiger Woods has announced that he will make a return to the PGA Tour next week.
The 44-year-old confirmed he will feature at next week’s Memorial Tournament at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio.
Woods last competed in the PGA Tour in mid-February but didn’t do so well despite making the cut for the Genesis Invitational.
He has since been contending with some back issues, which kept him out of a number of events.
But in a Twitter post, the reigning Masters champion said he is looking forward to staging a return at the Memorial Tournament.
“I’m looking forward to playing in the @MemorialGolf next week,” Woods wrote.
“I’ve missed going out and competing with the guys and can’t wait to get back out there.”
Woods last won at the Memorial Tournament in 2012 and has overall won the competition a record five times.
