Joel Embiid has wondered about his future with the Philadelphia 76ers after they were swept out of the NBA playoffs on Sunday.
The Sixers had just lost to Boston Celtics, 110-106, in Game 4 of the first-round playoff series.
“I don’t make the decisions. I’m here in Philly. Whatever happens, happens,” said Embiid, responding to a question about uncertainty with the franchise. “I’ve always said that I want to end my career here, and if it happens, good. If it doesn’t happen, well, you move on and all that stuff.”
The three-time All-Star center finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks on Sunday.
