A closer look at Victor Oladipo’s Air Jordan 35 “NaYouBiko” PE

It’s been quite a rough year for Oladipo who is still coming back from his injuries which may have hampered him. He also recently had to switch teams from the Rockets to the Heat. No matter what though, his Jordan Brand family is taking care of him with some nice footwear by customising this Air Jordan 35 “NaYouBiko” PE – which translates to “My hat goes off to you”.

As induced by the name of the shoe, the shoe draws influence from the Nigeria’s flag as this is the very country that his parents Joan Amanze Oladipo and Christopher Oladipo originate from. The primary colors of the sneakers are white and black, the former of which covers the bases of the right foot while the latter goes over to the left side. It’s the Nigerian graphics here that give it its original flavour, as leafy patterns that alternate between white, dark green and neon green are printed across the overlays and on the interior lines. Further green neon applications are present on top  of the tongue tabs and lower throats which host the famous “23” branding. Furthermore, the obvious Eclipse holes that are shanked into the midsole each match in black.

Check Oladipo’s highlight, when he debuted these kicks on the court. Majestuous.
