Achraf Hakimi: Moroccan footballer is fuming with EA Sports for leaving him out of Serie A Team Of The Season

Inter Milan full-back Achraf Hakimi

Inter Milan full-back and Moroccan international, Achraf Hakimi has labelled EA Sports’ decision to leave him out of Serie A’s Team of the Season as “a joke” in a scathing Twitter post.

This week’s TOTS release on FIFA Ultimate Team was based on those who have impressed in Italy.

In a side that certainly didn’t lack star quality, Romelu Lukaku, Cristiano Ronaldo and Dries Mertens featured in attacking areas, while Franck Kessié, Rodrigo De Paul and Domenico Berardi were deployed in a strong midfield.

It was the defensive side of the TOTS, however, that got people talking, including Inter’s Achraf Hakimi, who was far from pleased with being left out.

He took to Twitter on Friday evening to voice his displeasure about the decision. “What a joke!” he wrote. “If you have something against me, tell me! This is bull.”

Juventus full-back Juan Cuadrado was handed a place in the team, as was AC Milanright-back Theo Hernandez, but clearly, EA didn’t think the Moroccan international deserved a place in the team.

Hakimi, who has made 46 appearances in all competitions this season, was predicted by many to get a spot in the team.
