Bayern Munich wonderkid Alphonso Davies has been named Rookie of the Year in the Bundesliga.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a breakout campaign with the Bavarians after joining from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.
Davies played 40 games across all competitions, registering three goals and an impressive nine assists.
His display during Bayern Munich’s 3-0 win over Chelsea in the first-leg of the Champions League last 16 also earned him massive praise from fans.
The Ghana-born-Canada international was thus overwhelmingly voted Rookie of the Year in the German topflight.
Davies beat off competition from FC Schalke right back Jonjoe Kenny, Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland, 1. FC Koln winger Ismail Jakobs and Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.
