The American-Nigerian athlete, whose parents hail from Osun and Edo State in Nigeria, had a chat with Afroballers, about his Nigerian background and his journey to where he is today.
“Talents in the State of Massachusetts are slept on, as there are good players out here” said Samson in his chat with Afroballers, on the reason for the dearth in Five star recruits in the State of Massachusetts. Samson, who is currently the 3rd highest ranked offensive lineman in the country, is hoping that his rankings will help to bring more attention to talents in the State of Massachusetts.

Samson, who has offers from close to 40 schools, said he will look at things such as player development, sound education system, and coaching, when deciding the school to take his talents to.
On his connection with his Nigerian roots, Samson said he loves artistes like Fireboy and WIzkid. He also loves Nigerian foods like Nigerian Jollof & Fried rice, Eba and Pounded Yam.
