Ansu Fati’s 100 million offer rejected by Barcelona

The Spanish giants Barcelona has rejected an offer from English side Manchester United for the winger Ansu Fati.

Barcelona was surprised when Jorge Mends called a few weeks back to ask for the price of Ansu. Ansu’s release clause in his contract was 170 million which they were sure no team will reach that fee and consider the player to stay in New camp for long.

The Portuguese super-agent Mends has a good relationship with Ansu Fati camp and made an offer of 100 million euros for the player to move to Manchester. Jorge Mends spoke to United and they are ready to pay for the Barcelona promising star to join them after Jodon Sancho’s move failed.

According to reports by Catalan newspaper, the offer was so big that the sporting department was obliged to take it to the board of Barcelona for a final decision but Bartomeu clearly refused. He sees the La Masia product as a key player in the Club’s future.

Barca have told Mends that they will not accept offers and the idea because he is will take part of their first team now, the club will activate a clause to make him permanently, which will see his clause release up to 400 million euros.

Guinea- Bissau born Spanish international was promoted from Barcelona La Masia to join the senior team. The 17-year old is the younger player to play for Barcelona and was the second-youngest player to play for Barcelona’s first team.
