Amad Diallo says Man United stars 'happy' for Carrick to stay as manager

Man United winger Amad Diallo opened up on life under Michael Carrick, saying the players "will be happy if we have him next season as manager."

Carrick’s impact at Man United has been remarkable, taking them from a mid-table side under Ruben Amorim to Champions League qualification with three games to spare.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Diallo, 23, lifted the lid on life under the former midfielder, and insisted the players want him to get the United job permanently.

"I think the biggest change maybe is because the team is now more impactful,” he explained.

In the dressing room, we are really together, every mistake is not a problem, your mistake is my mistake, so we are a team that doesn’t care if you make a mistake, you go again, so we go forward, we want to win as a team.”

When asked about United’s managerial situation, Diallo made his opinion clear, saying: "Everyone is happy to have him as manager. Everyone is with him... we will be happy if we have him next season as manager."
