Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi continued his impressive goalscoring form for Viktoria Plzen as he found the back of the net in the 3-0 Europa League win over Malmo on Thursday.
The 22-year-old was on target in Plzen’s opening league phase game against Hungarian side Ferencvaros which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Czech giants got their first goal against Malmo in the 34th minute through veteran forward Matej Vydra before Lasse Johnsen was sent off in the 39th minute for a second bookable offence.
Vydra then turned provider for Durosinmi to score his eighth goal of the season in 16 competitive games.
Vydra was again the provider for the third goal scored by Karel Spacil in the 53rd minute but Plzen were reduced to 10 men after Merchas Doski was given a straight red card in the 58th minute for a rough challenge.
Plzen remained in control for the rest of the game as Malmo were reduced further down to nine men with Daniel Gudjohnsen given a straight red card for unsportsman like behaviour in added time.
In other Europa League results, AS Roma defeated Lille 1-0 likewise Brann against Utrecht. Fenerbahce defeated OGC Nice 2-1 as did Go Ahead Eagles away at Panathinaikos.
Braga defeated Celtic 2-0 away from home, so also Young Boys at FCSB and Real Betis at Ludogorets while Bologna and Freiburg drew 1-1.
