Ghana's young Black Stars have won all four games at the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan, 25 goals scored and none conceded in the last two.
Ghana's next generation is making a loud statement in Azerbaijan. The national U-15 boys team beat Bahamas 7-0 to make it four wins from four at the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, and they sit at the top of Group W with a perfect record.
Shamsudeen Sulemana led the way with a brace. Jerry Owusu added another goal to extend his hot scoring run, and Joli Saelji, Abubakari Abdul Karim, Nathaniel Owusu and Angel Junior Adjei also got on the scoresheet. Seven goals came from six different scorers, which shows how much attacking depth this squad has.
The numbers are striking. Ghana have scored 25 goals in the tournament so far, and the defence has now kept back-to-back clean sheets. The run so far: 4-1 over Uzbekistan, 7-1 over Myanmar, 7-0 over Guam and now 7-0 over Bahamas.
The group stage ends against Kazakhstan, with Ghana already in a commanding position. Every dominant performance from these teenagers is also a reminder of the talent coming through West Africa's youth system, and of the future Black Stars the continent will be watching.
