Maxwell Woledzi played every minute and Shak Mohammed was on the bench as Nashville SC clinched the Supporters' Shield with a 2-0 win in Montreal.
Two Ghanaians are now MLS regular-season champions. Centre-back Maxwell Woledzi and teammate Shak Mohammed have won the Supporters' Shield with Nashville SC, which sealed the title with a 2-0 victory away at CF Montreal on Saturday, 24 October 2026.
Woledzi was a rock at the back and played the full 90 minutes. Mohammed was an unused substitute, but he is part of the squad celebrating the achievement.
The win gave the Boys in Gold the cushion they needed to wrap up the title with three games still to play. There is still more to chase: if Nashville take five points from their last nine available, they will be in line for the league record.
This is only the second major trophy in the club's history, following last season's U.S. Open Cup. The Supporters' Shield goes to the MLS side with the most points in the regular season, before the playoffs begin, and rewards consistency across the whole campaign. For Woledzi and Mohammed, it is a big silverware moment on one of the biggest stages in North American football.
