Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo lost his cool during Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards.
The 25-year-old was ejected in the second quarter after a heated exchange ended with him headbutting Moe Wagner.
After being fouled several times, a frustrated Antetokounmpo decided to take matters into his own hands.
He headbutted his opponent when the Bucks called timeout and was subsequently called for a flagrant-2 foul and ejected.
This is the third ejection of Antetokounmpo’s regular-season career and his fourth overall.
He is now likely to face a one-game suspension, which would rule him out of Milwaukee’s clash against Memphis Grizzlies.
His absence will, however, have little effect on the Bucks, who have already clinched the No.1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
But Antetokounmpo is now likely to enter the playoffs looking rusty and could have used the remaining games to better prepare and up his fitness.
