Bulls’ Ayo Dosunmu makes NBA historic double-double

"I think I'll continue getting better," — Dosunmu

The Chicago Bulls managed to find a diamond in the rough in Ayo Dosunmu. The late second-round pick showcased what he can do for the Bulls despite losing the game against the Boston Celtics, 112-114.

Dosunmu was a force for the Bulls, stuffing the stat sheet in insane efficiency. The 6’4” shooting guard had a stellar and historic night with his first double-double. He was able to score 21 points and 10 assists, shooting 9-for-10  while making all 3 shot attempts from beyond the arc, closing things off with four rebounds as well.

Indeed historic, Donsumu now holds the record of being the first rookie to have 20 points and 10 assists and a 90% FG in a single game.

Son of Cameroonian parents, Dosunmu is on a good start to making a name for himself, similar to other Cameroonian-born NBA players such as Joel Embiid and Pascal Siakam to name a few. With 37 games under his belt, the rookie who is averaging 20.3 minutes per game has no plan of slowing down.

“I think I’ll continue getting better,” Dosunmu said.

At an age of only 22-years old, Bulls fan are in for a show as they keep their eyes on another projected prospect!
