The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the dates for the 2024/2025 season tournaments on its official website.
CAF also announced the confirmed seats allocated to each member association.
According to a CAF statement, the 2024-2025 season for club competitions will begin from the preliminary round scheduled for the period from 16 to 18 August 2024.
The group stage will follow between October and December 2024, while the knockout round and final of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup competitions will be held between March and May 2025.
According to CAF, the 12 highest-ranking federations, based on the CAF classification, will be eligible to participate with two clubs in each of the African Champions League and the African Confederation Cup.
The 12 highest-ranked countries are: Algeria, Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Sudan, Tunisia, and Tanzania.
