Confirmed: Francis Ngannou to fight heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic in March

Cameroonian fighter Francis Ngannou will lock horns with UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 260 rematch bout, it has been confirmed.

The pair clashed in 2018 with Miocic a convincing winner, but Ngannou will now get another shot at the heavyweight champion.

Ngannou (15-3) gets his shot at the belt after becoming the No. 1 heavyweight contender. Meanwhile, Miocic (20-3) looks to complete a second consecutive title defense after back-to-back victories over Daniel Cormier.

The Cameroonian fighter has won four straight matches since November 2018, all by way of first-round knockout. No fight lasted longer than 71 seconds.

Ngannou’s last win saw him defeat Jairzinho Rozenstruik in just 20 seconds. That made him the top heavyweight challenger once again.
