Fikayo Tomori smashes Cristiano Ronaldo’s 8ft jump record

AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori broke a Serie A record during Sunday night’s 3-0 victory over Juventus, a report has revealed.

Tomori nodded in a third goal as Stefano Pioli’s side placed a major dent in Ronaldo and Co’s hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

Not only did he produce a moment to remember in his career on a personal level, but he’s also written his name into the Serie A record books.

The on-loan Chelsea defender jumped a staggering 2.63 metres off the ground inside the Allianz Stadium to surpass Ronaldo’s record, sat last season against Sampdoria.

It was a fantastic header in which he beat Giorgio Chiellini in the air, and he also broke a Serie A record.

Ronaldo claimed the ‘greatest leap’ crown when he soared up to 2.54m against Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in 2019-20.
