Joel Embiid plays through a Bells Palsy diagnosis.

Much of the sports world was shocked to learn that Joel Embiid was diagnosed with Bells Palsy during the first round playoff series with the Knicks.

Bell’s palsy is a condition characterized by sudden weakness or paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face, leading to drooping, difficulty closing the eye, and other facial muscle issues.
