LaMelo Ball sinks game winner to win it for Hornets

LaMelo Ball, literally balled out for the Charlotte Hornets as he made the game winning shot along with his 23-point winning performance to make it past the Milwaukee Bucks (99-103).

The Charlotte Hornets finish their homestand, sweeping the Bucks to a 3-0 record, a back-to-back game against last year’s defending champ is no easy feat, but the Hornets manage to finish strong.

When asked about his game winner …

“I’ve been doing that my whole life,” Ball said about his floater. “Going left, right, forwards, backwards, anywhere. I felt like it was a good shot, so I took it.”

Without a  doubt LaMelo’s confidence is his strength, being entrusted to run plays and get back on defense is no easy task. But when the going got tough and the moment demanded his best, the 20-year old prodigy made sure the crunch time counted.

Hornets fans sure do have something to be excited about as the season progresses as the team continues to prove themselves in hopes of finally making it into the playoffs.

The Hornets are set to face off the Philadelphia 76ers this Thursday night at Wells Fargo Center.
