LA Lakers star LeBron James says he’s neither looking forward to facing the LA Clippers nor settling any debates against Kawhi Leonard.
The Lakers and Clippers were tipped to make it to the Western Conference Finals after they took a 3-1 lead over their second-round opponents.
However, the Clippers fell short, losing to the Denver Nuggets despite boasting the likes of Leonard and Paul George.
Asked if he was looking forward to facing the Clippers and Leonard, James simply responded “Nah”.
According to him, he only watched the Clippers-Nuggets game as a fan and rather scouted both teams.

“I really don’t have a comment about it. I was just sitting back and watching the game from a fan’s perspective, watched big shots be made, big plays be made, missed shots, things of that nature, but also I was a scout,” he noted.
“Scouting both teams at the same team. I was trying to get as many log-in minutes for myself scouting both teams at the same time because we knew Game 7 would decide who we’d play. That was kind of my mindset.”

Lakers teammate, Kyle Kuzma added that the side is only focused on winning and not necessarily facing the Clippers.
“We’re not focused on the Clippers and we never really were. It’s all about who’s in front of you. When you focus on other teams instead of taking care of your food, sh*t happens like that,” he said.
