Magic’s Aaron Gordon faces time on sidelines after hamstring injury

Orlando Magic star Aaron Gordon could be ruled out for several days after suffering a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old was forced out with an injury during the game against Toronto Raptors on Thursday.

Orlando went on to lose by 99-109 to the defending NBA champions, in what was a frustrating day.

NBA insider Shams Charania later revealed that the power forward could be sidelined for several days.

He said tests on the player showed no serious damage, adding Gordon will be re-evaluated for a better picture of his injury.

“Tests on Magic forward Aaron Gordon showed no serious damage to his left hamstring and he will be re-evaluated in several days, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA,” Charania tweeted.

Hamstring injuries are, however, sometimes tricky and could keep Gordon out for longer than initially anticipated.

His injury adds to the woes of Magic, who are already missing the services of Jonathan Isaac.

Isaac has been ruled out of the remainder of the season after recently suffering an ACL injury.
