Kansas City Chiefs player Tyreek Hill believes teammate Patrick Mahomes is worth more than $500 million.
Earlier this month, Mahomes signed a record-breaking, mouthwatering 10-year contract extension worth $503 million.
Hill said he was happy to see his teammate put pen to paper, but said he would have held out for a higher value.
“I mean, hell. I thought he was worth even more!!” Hill said, as quoted by TMZ Sports.
“I’m proud of my boy, Pat, man! I’m really happy for him,” the 26-year-old added.
Hill further asserted that the extensions done by the Kansas City Chiefs have been a huge boost to the side.
He commended new deals for Mahomes and star defensive tackle Chris Jones, who also recent inked a new contract.
“I’m proud of just the Chiefs in general for getting all these deals done, man,” Hill stated.
“Cause they understand right now is our time, like this is our window to be great, for us to build that dynasty and I’m just happy to be along with them.”
On a light note, the NFL star said Mahomes will henceforth take charge of the bills for his meals.
