R. Kelly is reportedly broke and is looking to sell his entire catalog for below market value just to make ends meet.
Earlier this month, R. Kelly’s lawyer revealed that the singer funds are “depleted” at a court hearing.
R. Kelly is responsible for some global hits, however the value of his music catalog has dropped in recent years. The trial and his alleged crimes has made people turn away from his music.
The value of his catalog will probably not rise up anytime soon, as he is currently under trial in New York for criminal conspiracy and sex trafficking. He also has coming trials in Illinois and Minnesota for similar accusations.
