Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has won the “Best Belgian player abroad” award.
Based on the results of the vote, the 27-year-old footballer scored 363 points and surpassed midfielder for Manchester City Kevin De Bruyne (330 points) and Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Tibo Kurtua (99 points).
Lukaku succeeds Eden Hazard, elected three times in a row between 2017 and 2019. Arrived in Milan in August 2019, ‘Big Rom’ was quick to carry the Nerazzurri on his shoulders.
He contributed to Inter’s very good season, both on the national and continental stage, thanks to his 34 goals in all competitions.
