The Sixers have resumed fining Ben Simmons, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. The Sixers fined Simmons his $360,000 game salary from Thursday’s victory. They will keep on fining him until he decides to cooperate with team physicians on his mental health issues and completes other basketball obligations he has.

Ben Simmons keeps telling the team that he is not mentally ready and is working with health professionals via the NBPA. Nonetheless, the Aussie is reportely not giving the Sixers any updates on the situation and is refusing to work to anyone from the franchise.

The Sixers will place his salary into an escrow account, for potential future releases. His payment was released from escrow, when he initially agreed on a path to return.

It is obvious that still wants to be traded, but there’s not much happening when it comes to a deal. There’s far more likelihood of a trade in December when more players are eligible to be traded, so this will likely continue for a while…
