WE ARE NOT GIVING UP UNTIL THE LAST GAME: SWANSEA CITY STAR ANDRE AYEW

Captain of Ghana Black Star, Andre Dede Ayew says he and his teammate will ‘keep fighting’ till the end for a playoffs spot in the English Championship with Swansea City.

The 30-year old forward performance for Swansea City this season is impressive, and  scoring 14 goals already in the 2019-2020 Championship for Swanser City said,

“It’s very disappointing. That’s two games in the space of 72 hours where we’ve conceded in stoppage time,”

“It’s difficult to take because we’ve lost points. But we’ve shown a lot of character and determination along the way. We need to learn quickly. We can’t keep conceding in the last minutes.

“The lads gave everything, especially in the second half. We need to keep going. We’ll make sure we put things right on Saturday.”

There are ten more games to end the English championship and a place in the playoffs spot is at stake. Ayew has charged his teammates to fight for a good end to the season.

“The good thing is that we’re now only four points off the play-off places. Obviously, it could have been two, but we have closed the gap,” said the Ghanaian.

“We must try to get three points on Saturday and move closer. We’ll keep fighting until the last day; we’re not going to give up.”

The former Marseille and West Ham United player featured in 34 games for Swansea City in the Championship this season and scored 12 goals with 5 assist.
